Jordan Zimmermann gets loss in quality start

Jordan Zimmermann (7-9) took the loss on Monday with the Tigers falling to the Pirates 3-0. Zimmermann had a solid effort throwing seven innings while allowing three runs on five hits. He tallied just two strikeouts while giving up three walks and a home run in the 106-pitch effort.
Fantasy Impact:
Zimmermann has strung together three straight quality starts and has a solid 3.45 ERA in five starts since the All-Star break. After a woeful start to the season, Zimmermann has been serviceable since the start of June with a 4.33 ERA in his last 12 starts. However, with a low strikeout rate and average ERA he is only worth fantasy consideration as a streaming option when the matchup is right.
