Bryan Shaw was destroyed by the Cubs Friday night, giving up four hits, five earned runs, a homer, and a walk while striking out one in 2/3 of a inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Shaw came in to relieve the struggling Jon Gray and was immediately hit up for a walk, two singles and a double before forcing a ground out, then getting a K. He then allowed a home run and that was the end of his night. His 7.84 ERA and 1.84 WHIP with very limited upside won't do anything to help you in the fantasy realm.
