Jimmy Nelson went down with a scary injury last year that has derailed many pitching careers, but according to his doctor, the shoulder is recovering quite well. Nelson has been throwing from 150 feet and is expected to return around the all-star break pending any setbacks. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Nelson was spectacular last season, even receiving Cy Young votes. There are always concerns with pitchers when they return from such a significant injury, but if your team has a few DL spots open, Nelson should definitely occupy one in case he gives even 80% of the efficiency fantasy owners saw last year.
