Jack Flaherty allowed one run on four hits and two walks over six innings in Saturday's win over the Pirates. He struck out four and moved to 2-1 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
It wasn't quite the 13-strikeout masterpiece that Flaherty dropped on the Phillies last week, but it was more than enough for the Cardinals on Saturday. Flaherty was lifted a bit early after just 88 pitches, which was likely the result of his 120-pitch effort in his prior start. He's firmly established himself as a must-start option in all leagues, including in his next start, which should likely be against the same Pirates.
