Edwin Diaz continues to dominate

Edwin Diaz closed out the Astros in order on Friday, securing the Mariners' 5-2 win and collecting his 44th save of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Diaz surrendered a home run against Houston last night, his first earned run of the month, but bounced back nicely tonight with a 1-2-3 inning. Diaz has been nothing short of spectacular this season, and his 44 saves are eleven more than the next highest in the MLB. He now holds a 2.05 ERA to go along with a 96/15 K/BB ratio. With the Mariners continuing to play well combined with some added luck, Diaz has a real shot at a 55-plus save season.
