Chris Paddack picked up his first career win on Wednesday versus Seattle, throwing seven shutout innings while striking out 10 and allowing just one hit.

Paddack also allowed just one free pass as the Padres went on to win 1-0. The 23-year-old was just sensational today, needing just 83 pitches to get through his seven innings of work. This is easily the deepest he has worked into a game this season as the Padres will surely be limiting his workload all year long. Paddack now has a truly impressive 1.67 ERA through his first 27 big league innings.
