Kyle Hendricks pitched a complete game shutout and improved to 2-4 in the Cubs' 4-0 win over the Cardinals on Friday. He allowed four hits, no walks, and struck out three.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a nice bounce back for Hendricks, who allowed seven earned runs in his last start. He lowered his ERA to 3.93 and his FIP to 3.39 after this game. The lack of strikeouts is disappointing, but we don't expect many strikeouts from Hendricks anyway. His next start comes Wednesday vs. Miami.
