Kyle Hendricks allowed one run (zero earned) on five hits over eight innings in the Cubs' 3-2 11-inning win over the Marlins on Wednesday. He walked none and struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
This is the second straight outing where Hendricks hasn't allowed an earned run, and he went at least eight innings in both of those starts. Sure, his 7.23 K/9 is low in today's game, but he'll make up for it in volume if he can continue to pitch deep into games. His next start comes Tuesday at Cincinnati.
