Chris Archer (3-7) allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and six strikeouts across six innings Tuesday against the Cardinals. He endured his seventh loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Archer's mediocre season continued on Tuesday, once again proving that he has strikeout stuff, but struggling to keep the ball in the ballpark. He's allowed a league-worst 24 homers this season, leading to his 5.40 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. He also has 112 strikeouts in 96.2 innings this season. He'll take on the Mets next on Sunday.
