Brandon Lowe still not close to returning from bruised shin

Rays infielder Brandon Lowe remains limited is still “aways away” from returning from the injured list, according to Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash. (Marc Topkin, TampaBay.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Lowe has been sidelined since July 2 after fouling a ball off his shin. After initially hoping to avoid the injured list, Lowe has now missed a month and remains without a timetable for a return. He has been working out and has been feeling better after receiving a pain-relieving shot last week, but it sounds like his absence will last well into August. Look for an update on his status in the coming days.
