Patrick Sandoval confirms he tested positive for COVID-19

Angels LHP Patrick Sandoval told reporters Monday that his late arrival to camp was due to testing positive for COVID-19. (Fabian Ardaya on Twitter)

“It was unlike anything I’d ever really felt before," Sandoval said. The 23-year-old tested positive on June 22nd but is doing much better now. It's unclear if the late start to camp will cause him to get off to a delayed start to the regular season.
