Jose Quintana (lat) ready for sim. game after successful BP

Jose Quintana, who's been on the IL with a lat injury since September 2nd, threw a successful bullpen on Monday and is in line for a simulated game as he works his way back, per Cubs manager David Ross. (Jordan Bastian on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ross mentioned the left-hander should have another bullpen session on Wednesday and the next step after that, barring setbacks, would be a simulated game. He's a candidate to join the Cubs' bullpen once he's healthy enough to return. The 31-year old has a 6.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over six innings this season.
