Kyle Hendricks ended his 2020 season on a high note, giving up just two runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. He scattered seven hits and a walk while striking out three. Unfortunately, the Cubs couldn't muster up any offense, losing 2-1. The loss dropped Hendricks's record to 6-5.
Hendricks had a very strong 2020, finishing with a 2.88 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 64 strikeouts in 81 and 1/3 innings. He will likely finish as a top 20 or 25 starting pitcher in this short season, which should bump up his draft price a hair in 2021.
