Sean Manaea took the loss on Tuesday in Game 2 of the ALDS when he allowed four runs on five hits with two strikeouts and one walk across 4 1/3 innings in the A's 5-2 loss to the Astros.

Fantasy Impact:

Manaea navigated through the first two innings relatively unscathed but gave up a two-run tater to George Springer in the top of the third inning with two outs. The left-hander gave up two more hits in the fourth inning but escaped without allowing a run before coughing up a solo shot to Martin Maldonado in the fifth with one out. He was replaced by Yusmeiro Petit and eventually saddled with the loss as Oakland couldn't mount a comeback. The A's are now one loss away from being eliminated. They will attempt to force a Game 4 when they face Houston for Game 3 on Wednesday.
