Dakota Hudson (elbow) progressing 'really well'

Dakota Hudson, who underwent Tommy John surgery in September, has been progressing "really well" in his rehab. The hope is that he can start doing long toss by the middle of March, per beat Jim Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest. (Jim Hayes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hudson is a long shot to pitch in 2021 after undergoing surgery in late September but it's nice to hear he's making such good progress in his rehab. The 26-year-old righty was was solid for the Cardinals last season before going down. He posted a 2.77 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts across 39 innings of work.
