“My arm feels really fresh, my body feels great,” Eovaldi said afterwards. The 31-year-old finished last season strong, posting a 25:2 K:BB ratio over his final 21 frames (four starts). Eovaldi increased the usage of his cutter last year while decreasing the emphasis on his four-seam fastball. He has never shown much consistency throughout his career but remains on the late-round redraft radar due to the upside he has always displayed.
