Outfielder Shogo Akiyama could start playing in rehab games at the alternate site within 7-10 days. He's been out with a hamstring injury. (Bobby Nightengale Jr. on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Shogo Akiyama has yet to play in 2021 but should factor into the Reds outfield situation. In 2020, Akiyama slash .245/.357/.297. It's never good to see a hitter with a slugging percentage lower than their OBP. However, he's a solid player in OBP leagues.
