In the Nationals 4-0 loss to the Mets, Patrick Corbin struggled once again and went 0-3 on the season. Corbin allowed seven hits, four earned runs, and three walks with three strikeouts in four innings.
Fantasy Impact:
In this third start, Patrick Corbin pitched six scoreless innings against the Cardinals. However, Corbin allowed 19 earned runs across three games. On Sunday, his slider elicited a healthy amount of whiffs with a 44% whiff rate yet only one called strike. It's good to see the slider being more effective in terms of whiff rate, but the end results haven't been there quite yet. In 15-team leagues, hold on and hopefully, he figures it out.
