Tommy Pham goes 2-4 on Tuesday

Tommy Pham went 2-4 with two singles and a walk in the Padres' win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Both of Pham's singles came off the bat at 100+ MPH. Pham is still hitting just .205 with 0 home runs on the season, but his advanced statistics continue to trend in the right direction. His exit velocity numbers and hard hit rate have increased over the past few weeks, while his chase rate has remained elite. Pham is also still taking plenty of walks, which is good news for fantasy managers with Pham rostered in OBP leagues. Pham's sprint speed has decreased this season, but he still has three stolen bases already this season. Manager Jayce Tingler has shown a willingness to be aggressive on the base paths, so if Pham can start hitting and get on base a little bit more, there should be plenty more bags coming your way if you have Pham rostered. Fifteen to eighteen stolen bases should still be in play, if Pham stays healthy. With Pham's advanced metrics telling a much different story from his fantasy production so far this year, he should be a hold or buy low candidate in most leagues for now.
