Corbin Burnes (2-4) was saddled with the loss Tuesday against the Padres, allowing four runs on two hits and three walks across six innings. He struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Uncharacteristically, Burnes had trouble finding the plate Tuesday, firing just 58 of 95 pitches for strikes. Nevertheless, he was able to limit traffic on the bases. The Padres were 6-for-6 in steal attempts on Tuesday, which propelled them to four runs despite hitting no home runs. Burnes will carry a 2.33 ERA, 0.65 WHIP, and 74:5 K:BB into his next start.
