Henry Davis officially signs with Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pirates officially signed the No. 1 overall pick from the 2021 MLB Draft, Louisville catcher Henry Davis. (Pittsburgh Pirates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Davis signed for $6.5 million, which is roughly $2 million "under slot." This was by design and it allowed Pittsburgh to spend up on Day 2 of the draft. The consensus top college hitter in this year's class, Davis instantly becomes the top prospect in the Pirates organization.
