Gregory Soto picks up third save in three days

Detroit Tigers left-hander Gregory Soto threw a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 7-5 win over the Rangers on Thursday. Soto struck out two and walked one.
Fantasy Impact:
Soto has picked up a save in each of the past three games. The veteran reliever now has a 4-1 record, 2.70 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 11 saves, and 48 strikeouts in 40 innings of work. He appears to be tightening the grip on the ninth-inning role after splitting save chances with Jose Cisnero of late.
