Catcher Will Smith went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and two strikeouts as the Dodgers lost to the Giants 5-3 on Thursday.

Smith capped off an exciting first inning with a two-run homer off of Anthony DeSclafani. It was his only hit of the ball game, he also struck out twice. The 25-year-old backstop has now homered three times in the last five games and is slashing .261/.366/.478 to go along with 13 home runs, 44 RBI, and two stolen bases over 80 games.
