Johnny Cueto takes a no-decision on Wednesday

by Jon Mathisen | Rangers Correspondent | Thu, Aug 26th 1:05am EDT

RHP Johnny Cueto took a no-decision on Wednesday when he surrendered one unearned run on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings as the Giants took down the Mets 3-2.

Fantasy Impact:

Cueto was placed on the IL earlier this month with a flexor strain in his throwing arm so this was his first start since being activated. He did issue three walks but didn't allow an earned run a Kris Bryant throwing error led to Jonathan Villar scoring in the fifth inning. The veteran hurler now owns a 3.73 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 94:27 K/BB ratio over 108 2/3 innings (20 starts). He'll face the Brewers at home in his next turn.
