Kenta Maeda is set to undergo season-ending surgery on Wednesday, according to Twins manager Rocco Baldelli. (Dan Hayes on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
It is still being determined what the surgery will be based on what the surgeon discovers. It is possible it will be Tommy John surgery, but there are other possibilities as well. His potential availability for the beginning of the 2022 season is in question as well.
