This is the second consecutive absence for Vaughn, who is just 2-for-28 with seven strikeouts over his last seven games. In total, the 23-year-old rookie is slashing .240/.314/.409 with 15 homers, 45 RBI, 39 walks, and 96 strikeouts this year.
