Rockies closer Carlos Estevez allowed a walk and a hit while pitching the ninth inning of a one-run game against the Braves on Monday. He was able to escape the frame unscathed, earning the save while nothing a strikeout along the way. Colorado ultimately defeated Atlanta by a score of 5-4.
Fantasy Impact:
Estevez hit a rough patch earlier this month in which he allowed six runs over 2.2 innings of work. However, in two outings since then, he has allowed zero runs and racked up a pair of saves. All in all this season, the 28-year-old has logged eight saves through 13 opportunities.
