Trayce Thompson hits 2-run RBI single in Dodgers win Sunday night

Trayce Thompson went 1-for-4 at the plate on Sunday, walking once, striking out twice, and hitting a game tying 2-run RBI single with two outs in the ninth inning to help the Dodgers rally to an extra innings 5-3 win over the Braves.

Fantasy Impact:

It may be time to give Thompson a look in fantasy here soon as he came up clutch once again for the Dodgers and seems to be able to play ball in just the one uniform after his terrible start to the year in a Padres uniform. The Dodgers outfielder has been fantastic since his trade over from the Padres, as he is slashing .313/.353/.563 since coming over in the trade. The one cautionary point for managers who may look his way is that there are too many factors involved for what he needs to do to stay at a valuable place as his BABIP is way too high and will likely see a regression with a .571 BABIP, the other thing holding him back is that he will only be usable for a few more weeks until Mookie Betts returns from the IL.
