Luis Robert will not come off IL when first eligible

White Sox manager Tony La Russa provided an update on Luis Robert's progress. According to the Chicago Sun Times, he is not likely to return when first eligible Friday. (Chicago Sun Times)
Fantasy Impact:
La Russa was quoted saying ‘‘The IL date is Friday, but he (Robert) hasn’t played much, so first things first. When is he cleared to really compete and then what’s the smart thing to do? Hope for the best.’’ That certainly does not sound like a positive update. This situation is worth monitoring going forward.
