Jameson Taillon fans four, walks none in loss Wednesday

by Luke Monaldo | Cubs Correspondent | Mon, Aug 15th 2:20am EDT

Jameson Taillon pitched seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out four in New York’s 3-0 loss in Boston on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Taillon registered a quality start against the Red Sox on Sunday night, completing seven or more innings for the second straight start and fifth time this season, but lost thanks in part to zero runs of support. Taillon recorded his first loss since July 5 on the road in Pittsburgh but still hasn’t lost at home since his first start of the year all the easy back on April 11 (6-1 home record). Taillon will put his six-decision winning streak on the line in his next start, slated for Friday night against the Blue Jays, the team that handed him his lone home loss.
