Adam Ottavino earns the save on Thursday against Rockies

Adam Ottavino pitched a perfect ninth inning with a strikeout on Thursday against the Rockies to earn his first save of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Buck Showalter opted to use Edwin Diaz in the eighth inning against the heart of the Rockies lineup, leaving Ottavino to lock down the ninth. He's pitched very well this year, with a 2.13 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP, cutting his walk rate significantly from the last few seasons. He'd likely be the next man up if anything happened to Diaz but, for now, he's purely someone to roster for his solid, though unspectacular, ratios.
