Detroit Tigers reliever Mason Englert picked up his first career MLB win in a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Englert was called upon to kick off the sixth inning and ended up pitching 2 2/3 innings of scoreless ball, allowing just one hit and zero walks against four strikeouts on the night. A Rule 5 selection from the Rangers this winter, Englert posted big-time strikeout numbers in the minors and owns a 3.94 ERA with 16 punchouts in as many innings in a long relief role to this point.
