Washington Nationals OF Denard Span recently experienced a setback in his return from a back injury. Following the setback, he told reporters that he's not sure if he'll play again this season. (Washington Post)

Span was expected to return as soon as this week prior to the setback, and fantasy owners were hoping to have available to them. His absence is likely to impact the Nationals more than fantasy teams. If you've hung onto him to this point, it's probably worth waiting a few days until more is learned about his condition, but he's nearing the point where he can be dropped in all formats.
