"(Kopech) has been phenomenal," Katz said. "Ball’s coming out hot and he's pounding the strike zone, so right now he's in a great spot." It was reported last week that Kopech entered camp 20 pounds lighter. He is looking to bounce back after recording a 5.43 ERA last season.
