Willson Contreras (forearm) came through surgery well earlier this week and is likely to miss 10 weeks for recovery. (John Denton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Contreras originally sustained a forearm fracture this past Tuesday, May 7 when he was struck by a swing from Mets' designated hitter J.D. Martinez. Contreras is obviously a tough loss for the Cardinals, as he's been one of the best bats so far this season, posting a .950 OPS with six homers and 11 doubles through 31 games. Contreras hopes to be back around the All-Star break.
