Miguel Cabrera went 1-for-1 with a walk and a three-run homer against the Yankees on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Miggy crushed a ball off of the veteran reliever, Vinnie Pestano, for his first homer of Spring Training. It seems crazy to think of Miguel Cabrera as underrated, but going outside of the first round in most leagues (13th overall in ADP) makes him a great value on draft day. While the 40+ homer campaigns are behind him, he can still get you 25+ with 100 runs and RBI, with an average around .330, and is one of the safest picks late in the first/early in the second round. Take him with confidence.
