Ryan Zimmerman plays 1B for first time this spring

Ryan Zimmerman manned first base for five innings Wednesday, the first time he played the position this spring. Zimmerman has been dealing with plantar fasciitis this spring. (MASNsports.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It appears Zimmerman will be ready for the start of the regular season, but the foot injury is concerning considering how it tends to linger. We've seen what it can do to players, most recently Corey Dickerson in 2015. Zimmerman is not expected to return starting 1B numbers for 2016.
