Jose Altuve is raking at the plate

by Dan Schalk | Astros Correspondent | Fri, May 6th 9:36am EDT

Jose Altuve continued his hot streak against the Mariners on Thursday night. He went 4-for-4 with his sixth lead-off home run this season. For the second game in a row, he ended a triple shy of the cycle.

Fantasy Impact:

Altuve's six leadoff home runs tie a club record with Craig Biggio for most lead-off home runs in one season, and we are only in the beginning of May. With Jose's incredible power numbers to date, 9 HR and 19 RBI, he is playing like not only the top second baseman, but possibly the most valuable position player in all of fantasy baseball. He is a must-start every night, and it is doubtful Astros manager will be taking him out of the lineup anytime soon.
