Craig Kimbrel picks up 17th save

Craig Kimbrel secured his 17th save in Friday's 5-4 victory by working around a hit and a walk in the ninth inning. Despite allowing two baserunners, Kimbrel needed only 15 pitches overall to get out of the ninth.
Fantasy Impact:
Kimbrel struggled to protect the one-run lead on Friday night but was able to get out of trouble and nailed down his fifth consecutive successfully converted save opportunity. For the season, Kimbrel is 17-for-19 in save chances this season to go along with a 2.53 ERA and 48/12 K/BB ratio in 32 innings.
