Adam Wainwright allowed three runs over six innings on Friday against the Phillies. He gave up five hits and two walks, while striking out five. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Wainwright bounced back from two disastrous outings, but this one is still a disappointment considering it was against the Phillies. Wainwright now has a 4.71 ERA, and looks like he won't be providing much use to fantasy owners down the stretch. His next start is against the slumping Mets, so he could be a desperation start in that circumstance.
