Carlos Carrasco pitched eight shutout innings on Monday in a win over Oakland, allowing just four hits while striking out nine. Carrasco moved to 9-6 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Carrasco has been inconsistent recently but had perhaps his best outing of the year on Monday. He induced 18 swinging strikes and now has 124 Ks in 124 innings pitched. His next start will be this weekend at Texas.
