Chris Archer registers another double-digit strikeout game

Chris Archer allowed three runs on four hits in seven innings against the Astros on Sunday, striking out 10 batters while walking two and earning a win. Archer finishes the month of August 3-3 with a 3.03 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings. He is 8-17 with a 4.10 ERA this season leading into his next start in Tampa against the Blue Jays on September 4.
Fantasy Impact:
Archer is far better than his 8-17 record and has allowed three runs or less in seven of his last eight starts. He has also struck out six batters or more in each of his last nine starts, twice striking out double-digit batters. Current Blue Jays have a .548 OPS in 235 career at-bats against Archer and he is 3-9 with a 2.61 ERA at home this season.
