Jaime Garcia allowed five runs over seven innings in Sunday's loss to the A's. Garcia gave up seven hits and one walk, while striking out six. It was his third straight start allowing at least five earned runs.
Fantasy Impact:
Garcia gave up all five runs in the first three innings before settling down, but that's of little consolation to his fantasy owners. Garcia's ERA of 4.46 is now at its highest point since his rookie year, and he's trending in the wrong direction. It's difficult to see a matchup that would be good enough to risk starting Garcia at this point.
