Allen Barbre traded to Broncos prior to being released

Allen Barbre was released by the Eagles on Wednesday, according to an announcement by the team. However, prior to being officially released, Barbre was actually traded to the Denver Broncos for a conditional 2019 draft pick, the team announced.

Barbre is a versatile reserve lineman, and the Broncos were apparently concerned about him being claimed or signed by someone else, so they swooped in and made a deal with the Eagles before his release was finalized with the league.
