Wendell Smallwood leads Eagles in rushing Week 3

Wendell Smallwood rushed 12 times for 71 yards and caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Smallwood saw his role increase after Darren Sproles went down with an arm injury, and it sounds like Sproles could be out for an extended period of time. If that is, in fact, the case, Smallwood's role increase could be permanent. He will still have to share touches with LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement going forward, but Smallwood's value just increased with the injury to Sproles.
