Theo Riddick ties season high mark in carries in win over Chicago

Theo Riddick ran the ball nine times, which is the most attempts he's had all year tied only with Week 2. Strangely, he was all but absent in the passing game, recording just one catch for four yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Detroit is making a clear effort to be more creative with their backfield. Riddick is running the ball surprisingly well, and Ameer Abduallah is making surprise appearances as a pass-catcher. Ultimately this is bad for Riddick, who will probably never out-carry Abdullah, and who is highly dependent on the passing game to be productive. He remains a handcuff at best.
