Foyesade Oluokun leads Atlanta with nine combined tackles in Week Six win

Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Foyesade Oluokun led the defense in overall production in the win over Tampa Bay at home in Week Six. Oluokun recorded seven solo tackles and added two assists after receiving a boost in the last two weeks in snap counts. He was on the field in Week Five for 54% of the contest and received another jump in Week Six with 60% of the available snaps.

Fantasy Impact:

The real story may be that Duke Riley went from an average of about 80% in weeks two thru five to 43% in Week Six. If head coach Dan Quin liked what he saw from Oluokun in the win over Tampa Bay this week we may see another jump in snaps for the rookie going forward. Riley owners will want to monitor this situation as much as Oluokun's as things play out over the next few contests. Riley had struggled in place of Deion Jones (foot) who was placed on injured reserve and can return in Week Ten if things have gone well. In addition to Riley being stripped of the defensive play calls as recently as Week Four, he is now trending down for IDP owners if the drop in time on the field keeps occurring.
