Melvin Gordon could return for Week 14

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Los Angeles Chargers are optimistic that RB Melvin Gordon (knee) is truly week-to-week and that "it won't be long now," before he's back on the field. Gordon has already been ruled out for Week 13 and is questionable for Week 14's home game against Cincinnati. Week 15, a crucial Thursday night matchup with the Chiefs, is a more likely return date for Gordon. According to Schefter, "They want him to rest for now and, in the words of another source, "at least be ready for the K.C. game." (ESPN )
Fantasy Impact:
This is the best case scenario for Gordon, who sprained his MCL and was potentially expected to miss the rest of the regular season. The Chargers shouldn't need to rush Gordon back for the Bengals, especially with an important AFC West showdown with the Chiefs four days later. Having Gordon back for the fantasy playoffs would be fantastic for owners that weren't necessarily counting on him to contribute again this fantasy season.
