Ameer Abdullah totals 63 yards in win

Ameer Abdullah rushed four times for 63 yards in the Vikings' 34-25 win over the Saints on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

The 2015 second-round pick played three uninspired seasons with the Lions before signing with the Vikings last year. Injuries and poor play have plagued him throughout his NFL career, but Abdullah has been given a second chance in Minnesota, where he'll vie for the backup RB position with rookie Alexander Mattison. His 63 yards on just four carries easily outgained Mattison's 30 yards on nine carries, though Mattison caught a short TD. The backup position in Minnesota is of particular interest because of starter Dalvin Cook's injury history.
