According to Charles Robinson, sources have told Yahoo Sports that free agent quarterback Jameis Winston is finalizing a one-year deal with the Saints. (Charles Robinson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
By signing Winston, the Saints are securing a great back-up for Drew Brees. Taysom Hill will still be used for his versatility on game day, but if Brees were to down with an injure, Winston would provide much steady depth at the position. Winston should be owned in all two-quarterback and super flex leagues.
